Lions Club International provides leadership training opportunities for Lions at all stages of their Lionism. Recently, the Gallatin Empire Lions Club sent two members to the Regional Lions Leadership Institute in Lethbridge, Alberta. Once there, Dan Douthit and Callan Nagy participated in sessions with topics like running a Club, welcoming diversity, and dealing with adversity. The institute culminated with a public speaking session in which every attendee gave a speech to the group on a topic that was chosen at the beginning of the weekend.
